Your ramp ideally should incline at a rate of 3” per vertical foot. If it is too steep it could cause difficulties in a  number of ways. Example number one, if you have a driving lawn mower with a belly blade on it the belly will hit the entrance to the shed if your ramp is to steep.

My very first shop project was in senior high school but it wasn’t a thing of beauty, it got the job done that it was meant for however it could have been constructed better. Garden Storage Shed Plans

Is it better to buy a shed or build one?

If you have basic carpentry skills and a good blueprint you can save a lot of money building a shed yourself.
